Tickets are valid only for the date and time of the tour, activity or event chosen.
Pricing
The prices are subject to modification. In the event of modifications, the applicable prices are those in force at the time of purchase.
Secure payment
The buyer has the guarantee that their bank account will only be debited once by the Louvre Abu Dhabi via its secure payment site, for the total amount of the offer chosen in advance, when it is definitively registered as described previously of these general terms and conditions of sale online.
Admission ticket checks
All admission tickets are systematically checked by optical identification of the bar code printed on the ticket.
The admission ticket is personal and non-transferable.
Cancellation and reimbursement requests
Tickets shouldn’t be taken back, exchanged or reimbursed (even in the event of loss or theft).
No refund will be made to after the payment has been done
Cancellation of a given activity due to force majeure or the action of a third party to the contract will in no way result in the payment of compensation to the buyer by the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
The buyer must retain their ticket for the entire duration of their presence at the Louvre Abu Dhabi. No duplicate ticket will be issue or provided except with the specific agreement of the Louvre Abu Dhabi.
Responsibility the Louvre Abu Dhabi cannot be held responsible for any lack of provision due to (1) the fault of the buyer, (2) an unforeseeable and insurmountable action by a third party in relation to the contract, (3) force majeure or any event outside its control, including in particular but not limited to cases of war, rioting, uprising, interruption in transport services, fire, computer failure, interruptions in telecommunications – including networks, especially the Internet –, flooding or natural disaster.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi cannot be held responsible:
- For any anomalies that may occur during order processing or printing of print-at-home tickets, as long as they have not been caused intentionally; following negligence in the event of loss, theft or the illegal use of the print-at-home ticket; or for any damage resulting from the use of the internet network such as the loss of data, interference, virus, interruption of service or other involuntary problems. No duplicate, certificate or recovery of the ticket of any kind will be issued to the buyer other than the single initial ticket that can be printed by the visitor.In the event of cancellation or postponement of a programmed event.
- For a change of display in the permanent collection and temporary exhibitions (access to the list of works removed from the galleries can be found on the Louvre Abu Dhabi website).
- For any tickets sold via unauthorized third party
Applicable law – dispute settlement
The contract is subject to Emirati law and Abu Dhabi courts. In the event of any dispute or complaint, the buyer must contact the Louvre Abu Dhabi as a priority in order to reach an amicable solution.
